A call to men is an interesting point of view of how men should be and the qualities they should have. What makes it interesting is that Tony Porter was saying things that women are thinking. He explains why men have the qualities that they have. Tony Porter put the qualities of  what society classifies men as and what makes men feeble. Tony Porter named what classifies such as "don't be a woman", "don't cry" or "openly express emotions" except in anger and speaks about the negative stigma it is for a man to be called a woman. Tony Porter spoke about his personal experiences with his children, he stated that if his son started crying that he would  send him to his room to try to silence the crying and tell him to come back and talk to him like a man. Tony Porter also has a daughter and  he stated that when she cries that he consoles her until she feels better. His behavior towards his daughter is sensitive and which is why men shouldn't act like girls because that is what it is associated with.
